It seems everyone and their brother is blogging. Ok, my brothers are probobly not blogging. They are way to ...ummm....busy for that. Just the word blogging sounds a little dirty. Like something you do behind closed doors. Doesn't it? In a way it really is. I've been reading opinions and rants and very intimate details from other people's blogs for quite sometime now. Sometimes I'm peeking into the lives of long lost friends. Other times it's merely a click on a link to a total stranger's coming and goings.
These clicks lead me to pages of words that make me laugh, or cry, or feel like I belong. They keep me in touch with the lives of all my friends and family that I may have not seen in 10 years. I get to see these people face the challenges of careers and family. I see their fun and heartaches. They allow me to stay connected in this crazy busy world. Some of the blogs I read are very informative. I learn a little bit about a whole bunch of things. Then if I feel the need, through the magic of the internet, I can research and learn more about whatever the Blogger is Blogging about.
I am approaching this Blog as an exercise in writing. I have not really sat down and written anything in quite a long time. I'm not sure where this exercise will take me. I hope I can learn a little bit about myself in the process.
